Duo d'Accord

Duo d'Accord

Music critic Joe Banno of The Washington Post called the duo's recent performance "the most virtuosic and the most musically satisfying performance." (February 2005) Duo d'Accord, the young two-piano team of Munich's Sebastian Euler and Taiwanese Lucia Huang has also been observed as "one of the leading piano duos of the new generation" by the Taiwanese newspaper Taipeh Times. After the duo's First Prize victory in 2001 at the Murray Dranoff International Two Piano Competition in Miami, The Miami Herald wrote "the twosome displayed the closest-knit dialogue in the concertos" and with "balanced beauty of tone and technique."

Since then, Duo d'Accord has won, in addition to its First Prize in Miami in 2001, Second Prize at the 2000 International ARD Radio Music Competition in Munich and First Prize at the 2000 International Chamber Music Competition in Verona, Italy. Their repertoire includes masterworks of the piano duo literature from J.S.
